1976 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY 26,500 ORIGINAL MILES #'S MATCHING EXCELLENT CONDITION This numbers matching Corvette has 26,500 original miles. The car is equipped with a 350 L-48 engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, T-tops including original storage bags, leather interior, tilt steering wheel, rally wheels and dual exhaust. Original AM/FM Stereo Radio, car jack and spare tire. The first owner owned the car for about 20 years and kept it at his home in a climate controlled garage. The 1st owner then sold it to a car dealer who kept it as his personal corvette for a few years and displayed it in his showroom. I am the 4th owner and have garaged the car in a climate controlled garage. The 3rd owner also housed the car in a climate controlled garage for the entire time he owned the car. I purchased the car in in 2011 and it took me 2 years of searching until I found a corvette that truly was original. The 3rd owner of the car sanded the underneath frame and repainted it black for a sleeker look. He also installed dual stainless steel exhaust. This Corvette is a true survivor. I’m told it has original paint, original interior, original everything. The paint is in beautiful condition with very minor imperfections. In April 2017 the car was sent to Corvette Specialist in Mississauga, Ontario. I will list some of the numerous items and will provide a complete list to serious buyers on request. All fluids were changed, coolant system hoses, thermostat, water valve and pressure test coolant system. All hoses and belts were changed. Complete tune-up, replaced disc brake pads, pressure blow brake system and renew master cylinder. Replaced parking brake and cable. The automatic transmission and posi-traction were serviced and much more. The electrical and mechanical all work like new. The headlight covers and power windows operate fast. The chrome is in excellent condition. I will include the original owners manual, original passenger car maintenance schedule, original consumer information booklet and original 1976 Corvette GM brochure. This original Corvette should not be compared in value or condition to Corvettes from the same time period. This Corvette should be viewed and or inspected to fully appreciate it's excellent original condition. I invite independent inspections by appointment and will reimburse up to $200.00 for an independent inspection to the successful buyer.
