1962 Studebaker

Rare 1962 Studebaker Champ. Interior has been re done, paint and body are good although there are the usual small chips. The truck starts and drives, but is not road licenced. I purchased it a few years ago as a small project to complete, but illness in my immediate family put this on the back burner. I have since acquired a Canadian built pick up so its time to pass this beauty along to someone . I have driven around the block several times , but it has not had much more than 20 miles put on her in 5 years. There are a few things to knw. The drivers door window glass in cracked, and a replacement piece is included with the truck, as are two new window regulators. Also included are a replacement light switch and wiper switch , plus 4 new knobs. The rear lights are not connected although I had them temporarily wired up and they did work. the wipers did not and I suspect the switch is bad, The radio worked but I disconnected to get to the wiper switch to test the connections. 5 nearly new radial tires on the truck. You don't see may Stude trucks anywhere. This one was originally built as a white , 6 cyl, with three on the tree. At some point someone transplanted a Studebaker 258 V8 into the truck and changed the transmission to a 4 on the floor.I hate to let her go, but I have too many Stude's and this one deserves a good home. You would need to tow or trailer it home, as it has not been on the road in at least 5 years. Truck is for sale locally. Shipping is the responsibility and cost of the purchaser.
