1968 SS/RS 396 Camaro Lemans Blue (UU) Parchment Custom Buckets Interior (730) 2nd Week of January Build date Shipping date 1-15-1968 Excellent example of documented SS/RS 396 (350HP) . One of my personnel Bucket List Cars - I have owned it for 20 years. Originally sold in Canada, documents, internal shipping invoice from GM of Canada, SS396 45RPM promo record, receipts ect. included. Canadian cars did not come with a protecto-plate or emissions recirculation pump & plumbing. Original except Paint ( 1990’s 2 Stage) and Engine. Garaged since new. Unrestored - Odometer shows 41K I understand #’s matching having owned 2 NCRS Topflight and Bloomington Corvettes. That said, This is not - Current engine: 1966 427 -390 .30 over - 10.5:1 Compression Comp Cams 292 Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft & Lifters, pushrods. De-badged Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake Manifold Holley 750 Double Pump – Manual Choke ect.. Old School Mallory Unilite Distributor and Coil Hooker Competition Plus Headers (Installed before Ceramic Coating were available) through standard street Walker mufflers. Hellwig 1 ¼” Front & 1” Rear Stabilizer Bars – Original Front only included This car is dead STRAIGHT and has the perfect stance, a FINE example of what a Muscle Car IS, Period.
