This a solid example of a 1972 Porsche 914 painted in PPG Torch Red. It is equipped with a 1.7 L engine fitted with DRLA Dellorto carbs and a header exhaust coupled to a 5-speed transmission. I purchased the car back in 2013 from a Collector's Estate. The daughter did not know many specifics about the car besides that her father was a stickler for his vehicles. The motor was rebuilt and most of the car was in excellent shape when I received it but I did replace the master cylinder put in an Optima battery, new Pioneer speakers, an integrated iPhone/MP3 receiver for the factory radio and I had the valves adjusted. I have a shop manual for the car and a manual for the Dellorto carbs. The car has been garaged kept and mainly is a Sunday driver weather permitting. I've put on less than 3000 miles.
