This classic 84 wagon is up for sale. The car runs and drives fine but could use some work to bring it back to true daily driver status. This wagon features the bullet proof Mercedes diesel engine and has a third, row rear facing seat for total seating capacity of 7. Its a great candidate for a waste vegetable oil (WVO) conversion. Clean title in hand, $1,000 or make me an offer. The good: It runs and drives, and its a Mercedes diesel. Will it make the drive home to your place? Most likely. Self leveling suspension works and we installed new accumulators back when it was our daily driver. Brand new battery. There are extra parts with the car including transmission filter, new motor mounts, new transmission mount, fuel filter. The bad: AC doesn't work, cruise control doesn't work, front left turn signal lens is broken (light still operates, just broken lens) There is some rust visible in the pictures along the rocker panels and wheel wells. Peeling clear coat on the hood and roof. Engine has a rough idle at startup but smooths out upon acceleration and engine warm up. Could use a tune up. Interior vinyl cleans up nice but the carpet is dirty. I would suggest replacing the oil pressure gauge supply line. Rear left window doesn't go down. It has not been a daily driver for over a year so there may be other bugs that need to be fixed that I am not aware of. If you are a fan of these old classics and enjoy turning a wrench, this can be a great car! We are the second owners and have had it for about 10 years.
