Built this car early last year. Cars been a blast. Runs very well easy to drive. Cruises on the freeway 2200 at 70 mph. Motors a 85 5.0 block, cast eagle crank h-beam rods weisco forged pistons arp fasteners. Block was align honed and squared. Camshaft is a custom ground Jones mechanical roller for the blower application, heads are cnc’d AFR renegade 220cc intake runner 72cc chamber. Lunati roller rockers and pushrods. Trans is a TKO 500, centerforce clutch and a fidanza aluminum flywheel. Rearend is a dutchman housing their 31 spline axles gm disk brake kit. 3:73 diff with a clutch type locker. 6-71 was fresh when I built the car it’s got a 35 crank and 34 blower makes 10 lbs of boost. Car scoots pretty good lol. Front end is a heidts unit no power no heater or ac. The wipers work but needs a switch. Somebody installed aftermarket gauges in the dash the Oil pressure temp work. Had the fuel gauge working but no longer does. All lights and turn signals work. The last pix is when I got the car so you can see how far it came. There was only one small spot of rust on the pass rear quarter. I mini tubbed the rear so a 325 fits snuggly. Probably could use a 315 it does rub a little goin in and outa driveways. Interior was all done by me also. Factory seats reupholstered and refoamed, installed a falcon headliner due to them not making a comet set up. I found a new car I wanna build so off to a new home the comet is going.
