Vehicle Detail
I took this car on partial trade for an LS6 that I had a few years ago. This car had a nice restoration about 6-7 years ago. Drive line: It has a 1970 396 and a turbo 400, both function very well. Transmission has a slight leak after sitting over the winters(baseball size). The SS wheels were professionally restored and tires are new. It has a 10 bolt open rear end. It drives nice with no issues, you can get in and start enjoying it and driving it with confidence. It's a nice car to keep as is or customize it to your liking. Interior: Legendary seats with new foam, dash pad is perfect, SS dash and gauges (need a new speedo cable), door panels, carpets and center console are also very nice. No radio and headliner needs to be installed(i have it and might get to it before the sale). Body: The car has spent most of it's life in Florida, it's a solid car and shows Zero signs of rust. Nice and straight with only a few imperfection(to be expected). Unsure what metal work was need at the time of the restoration, but if it was needed it looks to have been done very well. The original color was black cherry, but this DBC GM WA8555 black with gunmetal gray stripes covered with 3 coats of PPG DCU 2021 clear looks outstanding. FYI... the trunk now has been covered in the correct trunk spatter spray since the picture was taken. Exhaust: Full flow master dual exhaust with a very mellow sound with stock exhaust manifolds. I have a video of start up and running for sound, but it's on my phone and I can send it to anyone who's interested. It has power steering and drum brakes... even though they are drums they are exceptional for drum brakes. The man I got this car from owned a body shop in Florida that specialized in restoring Chevelle's. He and his son built this car hoping his son would follow in his footsteps... but I guess it didn't work out that way. So he got mine for himself instead. When I decided to take this on trade I thought I would drive it all the time....being less valuable then my Ls6 was, but it just sits in the garage not being enjoyed. I think in 4 years I have only put on about 200 miles. So it's time for it to go. Any question i can answer I will be happy to do so. Please call if needed, 608.574.5345. Over the years I have sold a few collector cars and I am more then willing to work with any of your shipping arrangements once the car is paid for. I also know a few people in my area who do auto transportation(very reasonably priced) and could put you in contact with them. I copied these 2 paragraphs from an eBay ad....because I liked what they said.
