I am helping sell this absolutely gorgeous, wonderful-classic, original-survivor, true-one-owner, 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado Deluxe, to help settle an estate. Since purchased new, this one-owner-vehicle has 47,420 extremely pampered, original miles. Mr. Harold Melvin still has the original title, dated 7-21-66, that has never been transferred. It has always been garage-kept and very well maintained. This car is equipped with the original, numbers-matching, 425 cubic-inch, big block, V8, with 385 horse-power, and its Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. It has a great, original, straight body, with paint code (uu) Bubonnet finish. The paint is very old - so it has the patina you would expect. The code (059) plum interior, looks fantastic - but it does have splits and tears in the vinyl section of the front seat. The dash and door panels are excellent, the headliner and carpet are great. The glass, chrome and trim are all in great condition. The undercarriage is just as impressive as the rest of the car. The headlights come on, but don't pop up, and the radio lights up, but does not play. This car is an absolute pleasure to drive. The car starts, runs, drives, shifts, brakes, sounds and handles excellent. The car is rolling on a very old set of bias-ply tires, that should be replaced. If you replace the tires, this car is ready to drive cross country or enjoy immediately. The entire car is nicely detailed and ready for a collector, enthusiast or classic car lover. This car was Motor Trend Magazine's 1966 car of the year. It is truly investment grade - climbing in value every year.
