Reducing our collection of antique cars so please do not ask if we want something in trade. We don't. This is an original 1977 AMC Hornet Sportabout station wagon. A life long Texas car until I bought it and now it is in South Florida. The photos were taken recently and show you the condition of the car quite well. You can see by the two photos of the trunk floor and inner rocker and doors it is nice and clean. This is an original 41 year old used car so although it looks fabulous from a 5 feet away, it is not a 100 point restored show car. There are some minor paint blemishes from 41 years of use but overall it does have nice shiny paint and trim and shows well and the average person would not find anything wrong with it. It gets beeps and waves from other drivers when driving around town and at the local Saturday night cruise in because although every Corvette ever made seems to show up at shows, how many Hornet wagons do you see ? I drive it daily down here on short trips so the mileage will be slightly higher than the number shown above. 258 ci. 6 cyl engine. Automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering wheel, air conditioning. Nice and clean inside and out. Starts right up, does not smoke, leak or drip anything or make any noises it shouldn't make. New tires: completely redone brakes including new calipers, pads, brake hoses, brake lines, wheel cylinders, shoes and hardware; complete tune up and fluid changes and lubrication in the past 2 months.
