Vehicle Detail
Here's your chance to get your hands on a very solid, original 3rd gen Bronco XLT with only 122,595 miles. Still sporting the original paint which was freshly buffed to bring back a nice shine. The paint on the hood and roof has faded over the last 32 years. There is NO rust or bondo on this Bronco which is hard to find as you know! It has been fitted with a 6" Rancho 4 link lift with dual shocks on the front corners and dual steering stabilizers. New polyurethane bushings were just installed in the rear trailing arms. The front brakes were recently gone through and updated with stainless braided lines. It has manual locking hubs up front and 15" 8 hole aluminum rims wrapped in 35" BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO's with over 75% tread left. There is a custom rear bumper (which does have a slight tweak in it on the drivers side) with a receiver hitch and 4 pin trailer wiring. The rear spare tire mount has been removed but is included with the sale, including a full size spare, both of which are sitting in the back cargo area. A custom tubular grille was added up front. All exterior lights work. Under the hood is the original 5.0 motor and automatic transmission which runs strong and sounds great with the custom exhaust. A new fuel pump was recently installed and there is a set of aftermarket air cleaners in place of the original air box. The A/C pump has been removed and is not included with the sale. The under hood light still works. Inside you will find the original interior in excellent shape. The front captain seats and rear folding bench have no tears. The original carpet is in great shape with a nice set of front and rear rubber floor mats. A Grant steering wheel and Pioneer CD player with 2 6x9 speakers has been added. All factory gauges including the Tach work. The power door locks and windows including the rear tailgate glass all work. The center speaker vent in the dash was cracked and an aftermarket speaker grille was mounted to cover the cracks. The headliner is in good shape but the sun visors have been removed due to them beginning to sag a little. They are included. This is a very stout old bronco and looks awesome. It is a 32 year old rig though and does have a few things that could use tinkering. The steering box leaks fluid and it does leak some oil from I believe the valve cover gaskets. There is a crack in the windshield along the wiper line. The spare tire mount did a small amount of damage before being removed and the passenger front fender has a small dent behind the bumper as you can see in the pictures. There is also some very small dings and scratches here and there. The engine has an idling issue at times. It fluctuates on its own occasionally and takes a little extra time turning over to start when cold. I've been told it's most likely the throttle position sensor, cold start injector or a combination of both. These are fairly minor issues but I want to list everything I know about the Bronco. I just took it on about a 100 mile trip the other day and it did great, keeping in mind it is 32 years old and not a 2018 SUV! But that's not what this rig is about! It will put a smile on your face once you climb up in it, fire it up and hit the road. You'll be hard pressed to find another one in this shape! This is a NO-RESERVE auction so feel free to ask any and all questions you may have. If you have 0 feedback you must contact me personally BEFORE placing your bid or it will be immediately erased and you will be blocked from any more bidding. I want the auction to be fair for serious bidders. A $500 non-refundable deposit through Paypal is due within 48 hours of auction ending and the balance owing is due within 7 days of auction ending. The balance is to be paid by Bank wire transfer, Cashiers check or cash in person. Paypal is not accepted for the balance owing due to fees. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. If you choose to ship, I will help with loading. The bronco is located in Colville, Washington and is for sale as-is, where-is. I have a clean and clear Washington state title for the Bronco. Once again, this is a NO-RESERVE auction, high bidder will win this rig so please only bid if you are willing and able to actually pay for the it.
