Ok, a lot to say about this car!. The engine sounds excellent, will idle and not run hot. I have been a BMW owner for years, owning many. I am selling this car for my 92 year old father in law who cannot drive any longer due to dimentia. It was his grocery store car. But he stopped maintaining the car and let it sit for a while and I bought it from him to let my wife drive. We let it sit for a year since she had a newer car. Long story short, it has sat and gotten worse than it should have. So selling it as is with all the good and the bads. I know it needs at least 1 shift solonoid, maybe 2. A job I was going to do myself but do not have the time now. It runs great but instantly goes into safe mode, which means it shifts but you can actually feel the shift instead of the normal seemless shift these cars have. Check engine light on. Not sure why but expect the shifting issue to be the reason. Lots of cosmetic/plastic issues. BMW known for this. I tried to show all pics of the defective plastic issues. Not a perfect car but could be a great car for someone who could spend the time and money to get it right. This car could be bought and driven as is but needs lots of attention for the meticulous person. Windows are flakey but usually work well. A/C works perfect, Heat works perfect, sunroof does not leak, interior is a 7 out of 10 condition. All I can say is it's a decent car with lots of mini issues. . DO NOT BUY THIS CAR IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A NICE LIKE NEW CAR WITHOUT ISSUES. Paint may look good in pics but has some orange peel issues in certain areas. There is a blemishing issue on the hood and on the back bumper. There is a dent in the passenger side fender as shown. Please pay attention to pics and ask any questions you have. I am selling car locally as well so listing may be removed at any time.
