I am selling a beautiful 1968 Corvette Convertible. What could be better this summer than a cherry red Corvette convertible - cruising with the top down, going through the gears, and the roar of classic American muscle through a set of chrome 4" side pipes! Just about everything has been gone through on this car at one point, so it’s turn-key reliable and ready for the open road.The engine is a built 383 stroker motor with a nice mild cam. It has plenty of power with all quality parts like a complete MSD electronic ignition system, RPM Air Gap aluminum intake manifold, Holley carb, and those sweet hooker side pipes. It’s backed by a 4 speed manual transmission that sends the power to a posi rear end. Power steering makes driving easy and 4 wheel disc brakes stop on a dime. New stainless steel brake lines & hoses. An all aluminum BeCool radiator keeps the high performance engine cool in any weather. The suspension was gone through well, so it’s all nice and tight and feels great on the road.The frame and floors are nice and solid, in very good shape. The paint and body are in great condition having been redone in the recent years. All of the doors/panels open and close smoothly. There’s a small hairline crack on the edge of the left rear wheel opening, not very noticeable but it is there. The chrome is presentable but does show its age. The bright red paint shines beautifully and demands as much attention standing still as it does going down the road. The white convertible soft top is in good condition, as is the back window. The all black interior looks very good with no rips or tears in the upholstery, showing little to no wear. All of the gauges, lights, signals, etc... are all in good working order. The entire vacuum system was gone through so the wiper door and headlights all go up and down as they should under their own power.It’s not a perfect show or museum car, it does get used and enjoyed and does have some imperfections from normal use over the years. It was built to be driven and is reliable. It always turns heads on the road and at local shows and is a joy to drive. It will make somebody very happy for years to come.
