I am helping sell this 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe, with a 289 V8 and automatic transmission, to someone who is looking for great potential or just a desirable classic. This car was driven into the family barn over 30 years ago and not moved until now. Now it's time to settle the estate. Shortly before they parked the car, they decided to do a little customizing by removing the outside door handles and trunk lock and adding door poppers. They are not yet hooked up. It also has a push button starter. The family had a mechanic come over and get the car running. It starts, runs, shifts and stops, but everything should be serviced before going on the road. It has a nice set of Cooper tires - mounted on a period-correct set of aluminum slot mags. The mileage cannot be verified. The body is in overall good and straight condition, but it does have some rust and bad paint. This car is an original, most desirable, color code T, which is Candy Apple Red. The interior is in good condition, but the carpet is faded. All of the glass is good, except a crack in the windshield. This is definitely a great investment - climbing in value every year.
