Bike just out of years of storage. Carbs rebuilt by Jack of Old School Carbs New battery, tires, oil change, hoses, cables, etc. Compression checks out fine. Bike now runs like new, fast and stable. Up to 100 mph quick. This bike was purchased from original owner and brought up to legal registration and title in CA. My promise to the owner was to get the bike running again and sort out any issues. Owner passed late last year and bike is now up for sale. All original parts are there except for exhaust system, but they are available for anyone wishing to restore bike to show condition. Bike needs a good detailing and ready to ride. Bike has ALL the parts including shop manual, owners book, tools and tool bag aftermarket headlight faring and a big box of spare parts. Paint is not original but a good painter can duplicate OEM and decal packages are still available. This bike is the "sport model" and differs mainly with different handle bars, cables and a few odds and ends from the "standard model". Mike On May-13-18 at 08:29:02 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added a few more pictures to the file, sorry about the poor quality, but I am working on more pictures.I am also updating the description a bit to clear up any confusion.This bike is dirty from storage and I have not cleaned it. The exhaust system that is on the bike is a nice stainless steel Supertrapp and any "rust" that is showing in the poor pictures is actually normal heat related stainless color. I checked the bike over and there are no signs that the bike has ever been dropped, levers are clean and smooth, engine guards are scratch free. All the parts except for exhaust are stock as far as I know. The air filter is a K&N rather than the OEM paper one. The tool kit looks to be complete and the tool bag is worn but still works. The box of spare parts includes the headlight fairing shown in the latest pictures along with various cables, spare alternator, clutch, books and other stuff.Totally restored cbx bring up to $25,000 or more, this bike is showing it's age and is not near that level. With some time and money it COULD be there, the parts are there.I am not that familiar with Honda's but this is what I have been told.Looking around ebay and some vendors it seems that parts are available to bring this bike back to show condition, I just don't have the time or expertise with Hondas.
