Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a very nice, well kept 1975 Honda CB200T motorcycle. This motorcycle is original and a very strong example for being 43 years old. The fuel tank and side covers are original paint w/ no rust inside the tank. The seat is original and not recovered. The tires are original. The bike starts easily by either kick starting or electric start. This motorcycle belonged to my father who had it since the early 80's. My wife, son, and daughter used it to get their motorcycle licenses. It has been a very good, reliable machine. It is great for going to the store or around town. The bad: The motorcycle fell over once and the right front brake lever perch broke on the control assembly. On the 200's the brake and clutch perch is an integral part of each sides hand control assemblies. It has been replaced by a new Honda Mfg. (NOS) from overseas. The CB200T hand control assemblies are different over there in that the "Start" button location on the U.S. version is where the "High-Low" lever location is at on the new assembly. No wiring was cut or ends replaced but were plugged into the appropriate leads to the "High-Low" switch to work the electric starter. The other problem you will note in the photos is the right rear muffler area. You will see the inside area has rusted off. The performance and sound of the bike is unchanged from what it was before. That is the only (2) things that are not quite right. Also included are the owner's manual and tool kit. If you have questions feel free to ask them I have taken care of this bike for years and know it very well. I will not ship or crate this motorcycle. Buyer is responsible for pick-up. I can assist in loading the bike onto your truck or trailer. This is a "No reserve" auction. $200.00 PayPal deposit at the end of the action. Balance in cash, cashier's check or PayPal. Cashier's check must clear the bank before pick-up. Thanks for looking.
