This 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP is one of just 706 GXP models finished in Red Jewel between the two years of production, 2007 and 2008. The car was purchased new in Victoria British Columbia at Wheaton GM and remained with its original owner until our recent acquisition, it shows just 56,553 miles. All GXPs featured the 5.3-liter LS4 V8 paired to a four speed automatic. Though it has the same displacement as the Vortec 5300 LY5, commonly found in GM trucks, the LS4 features an aluminum block instead of cast iron and it uses the same cylinder head as the Generation III LS6. GXP's also received Bilstein shock absorbers, a ride height reduced by 0.4", Bridgstone REO50A Potenza tires in truly bizarre 255 front and 225 rear stagger wrapping forged alloy wheels, brake upgrades came in the form of vented and drilled rotors along with larger calipers. Cosmetic upgrades include its unique front and rear bumpers, the later allowing for a quad tip exhaust, a trunk spoiler, GXP badging and functional heat extracting fender vents. This Grand Prix received regular oil changes every 5k miles with services performed at the local dealer. It is now being offered with a clean British Columbia registration (Title). The car has never been in any accidents but has a non-collision claim from 2011 for a single event of excessive rock chipping. Consequentially, the front end and roof of the car have been resprayed. The high quality repair is indistinguishable from the original paint. Options fitted to the car include keyless entry, a heads up display providing information such as speed, gear selections etc, heated leather and alcantara seats, leather trimmed steering wheel with paddle shifters in front of the GXP specific aluminum trimmed gauges, sunroof, power and automatic windows, automatic dual zone climate control, a power drivers seat and flat folding front passenger seat, Monsoon audio system and air conditioning. The Onyx leather trimmed interior shows like new. Spotless throughout, it has no wear on any buttons, the only signs of ageing are minor wrinkles on the front seat bolsters. 10 years on, it has still retained a new car/ leather scent. The exterior is near faultless. Imperfections are holes drilled in the front bumper to attach a front license plate as well as a few minor stone chips also on the front bumper, these are visible in photos. The car has no dents, no scratches, no curb rash, no rust. Its well cared for and maintained paint has crystal clear reflection and a deep shine, the color glows in sunlight. It is all original from front to rear with no modifications. The tires are the original set fitted at the factory, although the rears still have about 50% remaining, the fronts are near the wear bars. They are due to be replaced but for originality sake, I felt offering the car as it came from the factory would be most desirable. Recent maintenance included an oil and filter change, air filter and spark plug replacement, and mechanical inspection. Willing to assist buyers with importation into the United States. It is an easy process as these exact models were sold new in the US market.
