1986 Ford E350 19 ft. Campervan with V8 engine and 84,000 original miles. Custom made van has been thoroughly cleaned and refinished for camping fun. Previous owner provided regular yearly maintenance and used it for seasonal camping and travel from San Francisco to Burning Man in the summer. After we bought it, we spent a summer cleaning it up and making sure it is functional. We replaced gaskets around the doors, sanded and filled minor rust, scrubbed the original linoleum floor, replaced carpet in all storage spaces and cabinets, sanded and refinished original wood cabinet doors, installed copper curtain rods and new curtains, refinished original wood dash, steam cleaned all upholstery and cushions, installed back-up camera, replaced alternator and provided minor maintenance to upgraded air conditioning system, installed fire extinguishers and smoke/CO2 detector and alarm. A second battery in the back plus inverter provides power to a new electric fridge and wall sockets for AC power to charge electronics. Battery also runs inside lights and water pump for the sink. Recently inspected propane tank for 3 burner stovetop and oven. Long extension cord plugs into external power for extended stays. Two 12 gal. fuel tanks with toggle switch. Intermittent hesitation when accelerating from a complete stop. This has been documented since 2015 and the mechanic says it may be a minor vacuum leak. This van has been kept warm and dry in California but proved it is water tight during a summer trip to Alaska.
