Used 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe. It is in restoration process. I had always wanted one and started restoring this, but unfortunately I am in a position where I can’t finish it. This was originally a white car with maroon interior. I had the car media blasted and found the trunk pan, right front and rear floor pans had some rust. The left rear frame rail also had rust. I replaced all these panels and frame rail from Dearborn Classics. The underside and the inside floors were Lizard Skin protected. The original 260 V-8 was rebuilt by a local speed shop and the automatic transmission was rebuilt as well. I installed period correct Edelbrock 4 barrel aluminum intake, but have not found a period correct 4 barrel carburetor as of yet. New radiator, hoses and belts are installed. Partially installed Old Air Products air conditioner. Power steering pump was rebuilt and all new suspension. Front disc brake setup was put on and new parts in the rear drums. Classic Performance Parts power brake booster conversion was installed. New gas tank was installed. New wood steering wheel and adapter kit. The Fairlane is primed with finishing work needed. Hood and trunk were primed and sanded and have some bare skin showing. Everything else is primed. I believe all of the chrome is there, but could be missing some possibly. Cans of bolts I believe most are there except interior trim screws, but some could be missing. The seats and door panels will need redone. I have leather front and rear seats out of a Ford 500 that goes with the car. I also have a mid 80’s 302 that can or will go with the car if the buyer wants it. I acquired it after rebuilding the 260. May or may not run and has the ac and brackets with it. The original Select Air ac unit as well as the original 2 barrel intake and carburetor are included. It has 3 steel wheels included as well as 6 styled steel wheels with chrome rings. These I would consider driver quality. Car would need to be trailered. I bought this car partially disassembled and had high hopes of restoring it. Other things have come up and I am not able to finish. Feel free to ask questions and can send more pictures upon request.
