Up for auction is this gorgeous 1972 Porsche 911T. It is a numbers matching car with black exterior and tan interior. The original engine is a 2.4 liter and starts up easily and runs great. The transmission is the original 915 5-speed. The seats are Recaro sport seats and are very comfortable and supportive. The black paint, which is from a 1994 restoration, is of a very high quality and shows extremely well. The engine is a 911T with E cams and Weber carburetors. The car has a front oil cooler that keeps the engine temperature low even on the hottest day. The car was owned for many years by a PCA member and mechanic in Chicago and has some very desirable and tasteful modifications, including turbo valve covers, Koni shocks, 930 brakes, front oil cooler, oil fed chain tensioners, 27mm sway bars in front and 29mm bars in the rear. The car comes with service records and a ledger detailing the service and maintenance of the car and covers more than 10 years of ownership. The odometer works and shows 43026 with actual mileage at 143026. The car runs and drives amazingly well. It has great power and the exhaust note is intoxicating. I am selling this car for a friend. I have owned and driven many long hood 911’s and this one is exceptional. It comes with a clean NC title. Recent maintenance includes oil change, valve and carburetor adjustments. This car came to North Carolina several years ago and has been kept indoors and only driven on nice days since. It has no rust and is in excellent condition.
