Vehicle Detail
What I have for sale today is a 2001 BMW 325i (e46) with 188k miles, a 5-speed manual transmission and the Sport Package. I am only the second owner of this car and purchased it in October of 2015. The car spent the first 14 years of its life in Austin, Texas and, after a short stint in Ohio, the following two years have been in Seattle. I love this car and it has served me very well as a commuter but I recently purchased a new car and this one is just taking up space in my office parking garage....As far as options go, this is a very well set up car that features the Sport Package, manual sport seats (no need to worry about motors breaking), a 5-speed manual gear box and Xenon headlights. Overall I would say that the car is in fair condition and considering it has 188k miles, it is in pretty good condition. There are some usual parking lot door scratches and dings and the wheels have some curb rash on them. On the interior, the lower seat bolster on the drivers seat has a bit of cracking in the leather- it was there when I purchased the car and hasn't really gotten any worse. The shifter bushings could be replaced but it isn't necessary. The air conditioning and heating are both far superior to those in the brand new Fiesta ST I just purchased- potentially the best a/c I have ever had in a car. Also, the windows have some pretty serious tint on them from when it was a Texas car- it looks good and does a really good job of keeping the car cool. Although this is car has higher milage at 188,xxx, it has been quite well maintained with receipts from lots of work done since I purchased the car. This work includes:-Entire Cooling system replacement (1/16)-Full Brake pads/rotors/fluid flush (1/16)-Cam Position Sensor replacement (4/17)-Full Coil Pack Replacement (10/17)This list doesn't include standard work like fluid changes etc but that has all been done on a 5,000 mile schedule since I purchased the car. I have parked the car since purchasing my new one and upon getting into it last week, I came to find that the pixels on the radio screen have gotten blurred. This is a pretty common issue with these cars and doesn't affect the radio working, it's just annoying. Let me know if you have any questions about the car, I feel like I have represented it pretty honestly and given the recent work, it seems like a fair price but send your offers my way. Thanks.
