For sale is my 1968 Dodge Charger, originally equipped from the factory with a 383 2-barrel big block, auto trans, A/C, power steering, power drum brakes and A/M 8 track radio. The car retains all its original sheet metal, however there is some rust in the trunk floor pan. The car now has a non-matching number fresh 440 with rebuilt 727 transmission. The car does start (using a remote starter) and moves on its own but is not roadworthy as the wiring is bypassed due to an electrical short. The following is included but not installed.· New dark green carpet.· New dark green headliner with original used factory mounting bows.· Used power steering pump and bracket.· New reproduction gas tank (without sending unit).· New Year One under dash wiring harness. The following work still needs to be completed by the new owner but with any 50 year old car there may be other issues needing attention.· Install carpet.· Replace drivers seat cover (tear in top and bottom). All upholstery is original as the pictures show.· Install headliner (the rear window is not sealed allowing easy removal for proper headliner installation).· Install power steering pump with bracket.· Clean up and install remainder of included trim.· Install gas tank.· Install header back exhaust.· Install rear seat package shelf. · Install under hood and any other A/C and heater components. · Install under dash wiring harness and reconnect all other wiring and vacuum connections. All other wiring and vacuum connections are untested and may require repair. Sadly, all build sheets and fender tag were lost by the previous owner and as such are not included. Please look at all the pictures closely and ask any questions or ask for specific pictures of the car before making an offer. The Charger has a bonded title in my name and is transferable. Look it up if you are not familiar with bonded titles. This Charger is a 50-year-old car and is sold “AS IS, WHERE IS”. I have done my best to describe the work still needed in my opinion.
