3rd times a charm??? - This car has been listed - 1st buyer wanted to cancer. 2nd highest bidder contacted more than once about wanting the second chance offer: I gave it to them and they dropped off the face of the planet!I'm also listing it locally, so auction may end early!NOTE: 0-10 Feedback: You MUST contact me prior to bidding - Or I will cancel your bid Want a first edition Challenger SRT8 CHEAP?? Here you go!!CLEAR TITLE IN HAND! This is a two owner car. I have had this car since 2010 with 1600 miles on the clock – and it’s now just over 69k. Its always had Amsoil oil and fluids in it. It has had the Mufflex rear muffler delete, stainless brake lines installed and a K&N drop in filter.. Besides that and the black painted (professional) Alcoa wheels, she’s pretty stock. This would be a great car for someone that wants to put some money into the motor and make a scalding First Edition Hellcat eater… I just don’t have the time or $$ anymore for this one. It’s time for someone else to love this car that has always been a dream of mine since it was announced that I made come true.***SOLD AS IS WHERE IS**** - I can help with meeting shipper/loading etc.**No Refund** So, WHY SO CHEAP? The water pump & fan assembly took a poop on the highway. It never reached red as I stopped driving and had it towed home. I then replaced the water pump with a factory MOPAR unit and replaced the fans with an aftermarket unit. After that, it started ticking/tacking in the motor. The car runs and drives. I've been told such a thing can cause the valve seats to come loose as they were pressed in and a different metal. Rebuilds cost a few grand here locally, so I would assume the same. I do not know if it needs a full rebuild, the heads, valves or what not.I don't know and I don't have time anymore. I’m in contract to buy an older finished truck and don’t have the money to start sinking further into the Challenger I have enjoyed and loved for 8+ years. She has been a daily driver of mine until the last about a year and a half hence the miles. Since then I've been driving a 68 Dodge Polara, or a 93 D150 truck. It has also been hit 3 times in a PARKING lot. Two of those I was not even in the vehicle. These resulted in claims. One was the rear driver's suspension that was replaced. The other someone dragged a trailer down the rear passenger quarter panel. The last someone backed a hitch into the front. There are still some other imperfections to be addressed: · Problem with the factory push-button start – Sometimes it will recognize the key, sometimes not. I have heard the keys can be the problem. Considering one of the keys is NEVER recognized I believe them, though never did anything about it. I just took out the pushbutton and put in a key to start – both work this way flawlessly.· They typical 08-09 door handle wear before dodge changed it out to the charger style handles. They always wear where the thumb naturally goes and it rubs. I’ve never repainted these.· The front bumper is popped behind one of the screws on the driver's side. Happened in the parking garage at work when they were checking the fire sprinklers – no one would fess up and I did not want to have yet another claim for a parking garage.· The wheels were professionally painted black by the Wheel Dr. (Brad) here in Sarasota. One has some scrub and there are some rock chips in the paint in others – otherwise, they look great.· The passenger airbag has still not been replaced on recall and my dodge dealer can never seem to get it.· The plastic panel under the engine is not there – it scrapes on entry to my parking garage at work no matter what you do. The front spoiler has bigger bolts on it to hold it in as well as rivets and one tie on the passenger side that a rivet never seemed to want to stay in.· One 2-3 inch scratch on the passenger side back seat. It is NOT through the leather, just in the coating on the outside. It blows OBDII Codes for the catalytic converter readings. Last time it did this I put in new spark plugs, cleared and it went away. It is likely the plugs again since I know that was at 30-some thousand miles. · In the picture,s there is an 8 ball shifter. I have the factory one. Winning bidder can tell me which one they want to be included. New Stuff: Radiator last year with one silicone hose – the other that was supposed to fit really would not so I used a factory hose. MOPAR Water Pump Electric fan kit Fresh XL Amsoil Oil General Description: First Edition-- #2564 of 6400 Produced. Navigation with 13 speaker Kicker Stereo including a Kicker square 10 inch sub in the trunk that sounds great! 5-Speed Automatic Transmission (its all they came with in the first edition).
