It was an on-road vehicle and did not have a full cage setup in side. We purchased the van and drove it from Phoenix to Denver in person to complete our conversion. If you're familiar with us, you've seen our many builds and detailed design. This van has been thoughtfully converted and has a scant 37k Kilometers. (It was likely an overstock purchase from Ford for the US government, hence the KM. The dash still reads in miles as well.) The condition of the van is superb, paint and body looks very much original and still shines, glass is good, interior smells pleasant and is very clean. It drives super straight and tight for a big van and will make an excellent passenger mover, service vehicle, or overland platform. The conversion process is extensive and van has a host of new parts. The motor is barely broken in and given the overall condition of the vehicle it's simply a lot of van for the money. Please call with ?s, Tim @ Timberline 720 515 0427. exteriorThis rig appears to be all original, paint all matches, everything lines up well, doors open and close easily. It has only light road wear and maybe a few very small superficial blemishes, consistent with the mileage. The wheels and tires are new, and we've replaced the windshield due to one small chip. There was one spot on the front of the roof that had the paint touched up. The fender flares are new, bumpers have been repainted and re-cleared and look nice. The van has a couple holes in the back doors from lights previously mounted, we've threaded in some appropriate nickel plated screws to seal them since the photos. You may choose to mount some different lights here, so we did not epoxy them in. The side steps are new, passenger side rear entry has a bracket welded in, so all 3 steps are very sturdy. This van has a trailer hitch, but I don't suspect it's done much of any towing. It does have factory RSC which is functional. The photos should show the van well. It's beautiful and turns heads everywhere I've driven it. (I've put about 150 miles on this unit since build...and 600 on it before we built it)interiorThe cabin on this van is nice and comfy. It smells pleasant. Everything was removed and cleaned carefully, floor cleaned and dried and we installed new synthetic aluminum backed OEM style padding under the front vinyl, as well as new bed-rug flooring in the back. Everything works including factory cruise control and it has keyless.The van has full power options, front and rear air, and cloth upholstery. You can tell by the condition of the drivers seat it has not had hard mileage. This vehicle was originally shipped with seat belts and rear seats which have been removed. There are many small cuts and marks in the headliner and side panels where guard shades were previously installed. It doesn't look bad, but this is probably the only pick with the whole vehicle. If you would like the headliner reupholstered I think our cost is about $500, though I don't see spending the money. We have a few options for seating, I have some drop in plastic seats with built in belts that we could upholster however you wanted. We can install factory style passenger seats and belts which we have access to, price listed includes up to 1 conventional in-stock bench with/without belts; email or call for additional seating needs/cost.build / mech / miscI drove this van personally from Phoenix to Denver over a day and a half, and it sang the whole way. After our conversion I've put about 150 miles on it. The van has 3.73 gears with a full floating rear axle. It has decent power and is easy on the highway. The alignment is dead straight and it doesn't wander. If you're going to load it heavy or pop the top, we'll install a Hellwig sway bar as part of the sale. The van is currently set up stiff, adding seating or camping gear/bed, etc, will provide the perfect ride. This is how we build our vans. Our Timberline conversion includes but is not limited to: all new moog premium steering components, tie-rods, new moog premium ball joints, new front brake calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, new abs sensors keep factory abs and RSC intact, new pro-comp mono-tube aluminum shocks front and rear, custom drive-shafts, new 4-link front end with all new hardware and bushings, re-manufactured 4R75 with low stall torque converter, 18k/18mo warranty through WIT, reman NP271 t-case with new linkages, LED 4x4 indicator light, new Warn manual hub lockouts, axle is from 2009 F-350 with around 70k miles, has new fluids in front/rear diffs, t-case and trans, many other new parts. You will be provided with a parts replacement sheet for the 4x4 components, effectively all the serviceable items of which are available through Ford or by aftermarket application. We will also include an alignment sheet spec for you. We keep nut and bolt records on our vans so if you need something in the future we will have the answer. The van carries a 6 month 6k mile warranty on 4x4 conversion parts nation wide, labor local included, free 1000 mile check through if you're local. This van should pass emissions anywhere, exhaust is custom routed and retains all original equipment.
