1966 Chrysler 300, 383 motor with automatic transmission -for sale. Last time I listed this the reserve was $100 away from the highest bidder. Clean title, currently registered as Non-Operational. No back fees. Starts, Runs, Stops! Why am I selling it? I don't have any more time to keep restoring it, and I need the space its taking up in my warehouse, its abut 19 feet long and 6 feet wide so that's a lot of real estate. My small business is growing and we need the warehouse space. I must say though, this car SOUNDS AMAZING! The cam is wonderfully audible with a nice steady lope. All glass is in perfect condition, no rust at all under rear window at the package tray which is where many of these cars had rust issues. The right rear quarter panel had body work done before I owned the car. To the trained body work professional, in the right light you can see it if you get your eyes down on the level with the side of the car. However most folks never notice it. I only bring it up as I am not here to try and pull one over on anybody, just trying to make an honest sale of a car I have loved for the last 9 years. There is a small area about 2 inches long at the lower edge of the rear drivers side quarter panel which has rust, but I have inspected inside the panel with an inspection mirror, and the rust is only localized to a 3-4 inch area. The tires have little to no wear on them but they've been sitting on the wheels (car was on blocks, not sitting on the tires) for 2 years and I can see some cracks in the sidewalls, I would recommend new tires. I would also recommend new front and rear shocks as they both are pretty old and don't do much in the way of shock absorption, rebound or suspension.
