68 Olds Cutlass S ConvertibleA fairly rare A body with fewer than 14k built for 1968 Perfect to build a 442 W-30 Tribute / Clone Car or Restomod Lots of good stuff to include:Freshly Rebuilt 455 Fa big block / C Heads with a TH-400 trans12 bolt rear endFactory A/C Power steeringPower brakes with discs up frontNew dual exhaust systemPower topBucket seats w/ consoleFactory Tick Toch TachVintage mag wheels442 hood A good rust free car that was media blasted then coated with primerBuilt at the Fremont GM plant, Lived in Sacramento most of it's lifeIn addition to the rebuilt engine, Lots of other mechanical work performed The previous owner was doing the restoration when health issues arose forcing the saleI fired the car up, sounds good, appears to have a mild cam It does have a bad flex plate which is making noise, the crank mounting holes have becomeoblonged causing a back and forth movement in the flex plate, hence the noiseNo other tests were performed This isn't a complete inventory, but a quick look finds some missing parts to include:Tail lamps, marker lamps, right side inner and outer windshield moldings,convertible top surround moldings, convertible top channel pieces, left fender upper peak molding, both trim pieces above tail lamps on quarters, right side inner windshieldpillar piece, glove box door, Radio, lots of nuts bolts screws clips & hardware Does NOT drive, the driveshaft is in the trunk & the shift linkage is NOT connected I have been as upfront as I can be with what I know, I wouldencourage an independent inspection prior to purchase Selling as-is -- Feel free to call and ask ?'s -- ( 9 1 6 ) 8 3 4 - 3 4 O 2 Photo gallery click to enlarge
