Looking to move some of my collection, there is just to many projects and I am getting overwhelmed. I purchased this car about 5 years ago after I ‘learned’ everything there is to know about the W140 chassis on a S500 I sold. This car was purchased with the typical electrical issues under the hood which is where I went through the process of rewiring the MAF’s, both ETA’s, lower engine harness, and sourced a revised injector harness. I put a lot of time, pride, and money into this car. There are SO MANY PARTS that have been replaced because I get carried away and do extra whether it was needed or not while I am working on something. If there is something of specific you are interested to know, PLEASE inquire. Full tune up with all new ignition, cooling system, fuel system, all fluids, front and rear shocks, brake spheres, upgraded wheels with new tires, new tail light lens’s, HID assemblies where sourced and installed for the front. Everything runner and plastic on the engine was replaced including the removal of the intake to access emissions components for replacement…list goes on and on. The few items I have purchased that have not been installed are lower control arms for the front. I have an assortment of parts that can go with the car as spares if buyer is interested. Everything works on the car! The front shock absorber on drivers side has a low voltage reading back to the computer per STAR and I have been dragging my feet to work on this…therefore the light on the dash is lit. Car runs and drives to what I believe a low mileage vehicle of this caliber would. It really is luxurious and cool to be behind the wheel of. The 722.3 transmission shifts perfect, the rear end is quiet. Radio is not the most exciting as I think that’s just how they where on these vehicles, but when the CD is playing, you can blast your ears out with the factory system. A/C is cold and everything is complete including the factory cellular phone. Slight rust ‘bubble’ by sunroof, front bumper was repainted as was the rear but the front was scrapped again by a dimwit driver out of my driveway. I would sincerely hope an enthusiast would purchase this car for what it is and enjoy it. Ask me anything you need to know to make the comfort level of purchasing acceptable by you.
