1986 Honda ATC250ES Big Red

This three wheeler is located in Colorado Springs, CO.  You or your shipper can pick it up here, on or before May 8th.  Starting on May 9th, I will be driving from Colorado Springs to Waynesville, MO, and a few days later from Waynesville up to Oshkosh, WI.  If you can meet me along my route, on my time schedule, I will deliver the ATC to you for $200.  This should be substantially cheaper than most shipping options.  If you have any questions about this or intend to have me deliver the ATC, please get in touch with me BEFORE placing your bid.  Thank you! Here is a 1986 Honda Big Red ATC in very nice original condition - these are the original tires in great shape!  250cc 4 stroke engine, electric start (with kick starter backup), 5 speed transmission, reverse, and shaft drive.  It has a large toolbox under the rear rack, a removable headlight with extension cord to be used as a portable worklight, and a factory 12 volt power outlet.  It has always been stored indoors and starts, runs, and rides exactly like when it was new!  This one is completely stock, with no modifications. I took these photos on 4-16-18, they are unedited and the ATC is how you see it in the pictures.  I did apply dressing to the tires (was supposed to be low-gloss, grr), but the rest of the machine was simply washed and allowed to dry before the photos were taken.  There were no "spit-shine" sprays applied to make it look better than it really is. I am the second owner, and this Big Red has been in the Colorado Springs area since it was purchased new in May of 1987.  Colorado is a relatively dry climate, we don't have the rusting issues that many areas of the country do, and you'll find this Honda is accordingly clean. Starts easily, idles smoothly, runs perfectly (it's a Honda!).  No smoke or funny noises. Shifts nicely, rides nicely, etc. Looks pretty darn good, too. Absolutely no rust in the fuel tank, just clean shiny metal.  The carburetor is clean and responsive. Original exhaust is 100% intact, unmolested, and quiet (no rust).  All tires are in great condition - good tread, no dry rot or weather-checking. There are NO LEAKS - the engine doesn't leak, the forks don't leak, no fuel leaks, axle leaks, etc. Everything works! All of the indicator lights, headlight, taillights, etc work exactly as they did when the bike was new. Same with the parking brake, reverse engagement, choke engagement, etc.  Overall this is just a very nice example of Honda's infamous Big Red. There are a few flaws that need to be mentioned:  2 dents on the left side top of tank, a 6" crack on the left rear fender (does not extend to any edges), and the seat cover is not original (its in nice condition, just not original).  These areas are clearly shown in my photos. Included with the ATC are the following items: original owner's manual, factory key, factory tool kit, and the original owner's identification card.
