If you like Old School hotrods this may be for you. IS THIS A REAL BEL-AIR? I do not have a clue, it has the trim to look right to me. WHAT IS THE HISTORY? The car belonged to a man near Knoxville, Tennessee. My friend near Cincinnati bough it and I bought it from him. HOW IS THE BODY? I would consider the body... good. The floors look original, the frame look good, the inner rockers have had patching with metal if you look real close on my overhead lift. I see no rust bubble in the paint, when I ran a magnet around the lower sections it stuck real good, a little wear over the wheel wells. WARNING!!!!!! The car is not as perfect as the pictures show. I will tell you more if you read all this listing. HEADLIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHT WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! HORN NOT WORKING! GAS GAUGE NOT WORKING! UNDER DASH GAUGES WORKING! SPEEDOMETER NOT WORKING! RADIO WORKS! HOW IS THE ENGINE? The engine numbers are 10114184, the chart we looked at said it was a 1991 427 tail block, its probably out of a truck. It has been rebuilt and look clean. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a 4 speed manual, the clutch feels good with no slip. HOW IS THE GLASS? Not good, it really needs a glass kit. They are from $549 to $649 plus shipping. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Carpet good, head liner good, front bucket seats out of a GTO. They need recovered! HOW IS THE CHROME? Some good and some bad, the out sides of the front bumper look new, head light bezels new, hood spears new, some new emblems, hood lower chrome new, back bumper needs rechromed, front bumper center decent, but is starting to dull. HOW ARE THE WHEELS AND TIRES? New tires 2055/75/15 mounted on Rally wheels, the center look like Corvette and have some pits. DRUM BRAKES AND MANUAL STEERING both feel OK.. HOW IS THE PAINT? It is a good looking color, black cherry, the sides are straight, no dents or dings, some specs in the paint, the shine is good, some tiny flaws if you look with a critical eye.
