BUY THIS NOW! NO: looky-loo's, tire kickers, cheapskates or scamsters I am listing a 2004 Cadillac DeVille Base for sale. It has 123,832 miles. This was owned by a family friend, went to my brother and then went to me. So, this has been "in the family" since new. I originally bought this car in the fall of 2012 and have only put 10,500 miles since then and has been stored in my garage every December 1st until April/May since I have owned it. I have several images that I have listed and will be listing more. The pictures you see now are from the weekend of 3/24 when I was detailing the inside and washing, polishing and waxing the outside. You'll notice the center caps are not installed on the wheels. I have them all but I have not finished cleaning and dressing the wheels/tires. The inside is in GREAT condition and the outside is, too except: both front doors on the very bottom has some surface rust. Also, the rear driver side back wheel well has rust (pic 4) and the passenger side is just barely starting, too (pic 22). Also, the rear driver's side wheel has seen better days as the finish is pretty rough. This car needs shocks and struts ($320-400). This is the base model and I posted the sticker parts code. The shocks/struts are not the ones that cost way too much money. You can drive this car around town if you really want to (I would not do it very much) but forget about taking this on the highway. You'll be bouncing around. And finally, I get asked a lot about leaks. The Northstar engines can have this issue. I have had pea size drips here and there. I have NEVER: had a puddle, a pool or had to top off my oil because it leaked out all over the place. I have only added oil when I do a complete oil/filter change (I do them myself, full synthetic). That's it. I have included a photo (it looks worse than it is) of the garage floor where this is always stored (see pic). Keep in mind, this is where the car has been stored from: Dec. 1 2012 to April/May 2013 Dec. 1 2013 to April/May 2014 Dec. 1 2014 to April/May 2015 Dec. 1 2015 to April/May 2016 Dec. 1 2016 to March 2018 Keep those above dates in mind when you look at the pic. I know this may be a deal-breaker for some, but I have to mention ALL flaws (I wonder how many people actually do that). I replaced the rear brake lines (up to the front of the car) on 3/20, bled the master cylinder and all 4 brake lines, added 2 rear brake bleeder screws and installed new front brake pads. All fluids are good. Other issues: the outside temp sensor reads 140 degrees, 1 key/fob, the CD player stopped (the radio and all speakers + sub works great), the "service air bag" text is displayed. I am betting on this being the front air bag sensor needing replaced which I never did ($65 I think). As mentioned above, I have stored this every winter since I've owned this. Getting this ready to sell, I re-installed the tires on 3/23 and found that all 4 sensors were bad. Instead of replacing all 4 and passing the cost on to you (at least $170.00), I had new air valves (not sensors) installed on all 4 wheels on 3/23. Many people will not be happy with this, but this is the choice I made. You can always buy these sensors yourself and have them installed. After the price for the parts, installing these is not very expensive (cheap) and does not take long (1-2 hours or so). The rear plastic panel that accesses the trunk does not close (when the rear center arm rest is down it opens). I have the pieces (see the pic of the bag) but have not put it back together. This will be stored in my garage to keep it clean. I've also included the parts tag from the trunk so you can check for yourself on the shocks/struts. The last 2 pics of the car are after the polish, wax and tire dressing was done (center caps not installed yet). ***NOTE: As I was finishing the detailing and replacing the wipers, the wiper arm fell and hit the windshield and put a couple 1 inch cracks in the windshield (see pics). So, there are 2 price options for buying this car. With a new windshield from Safelite Auto (and the paperwork to prove it) the car goes for $1,900.00. I can have a new windshield installed in roughly 24 hrs after a non-refundable deposit is made. Buying the car without the new windshield installed is $1,700.00. Either way you're getting a GREAT deal. This is a GREAT car, the engine runs great and sounds smooth. It is not perfect and needs a little work but you will be very happy.
