This is a real clean car that very little rust for a convertible. The pan halves are original and rust free! There is a little bit of rust starting along the bottom edge of the luggage shelf, the rear areas of both heat channels are bubbled, and both lower support rails bottom edge. The rust isn't into the heat channels and only on the support rails. Front and rear wheel wells are rock solid! Everything is there, the windows work, regulator work, and everything is complete. The windows were removed by previous owner for body work to the doors and are loosely set. The top frame is complete, but presently not moving, it will need bows replaced, and to be recovered. The correct rear window with frame is included. I have a window seal kit that goes with the car The body is in decent shape and only has a few small dings and dents. The front has been hit a couple times and the front fender have seen better days. Front apron and bumper brackets have been repaired as have the rear brackets and apron. The hood has had the tear welded, the support bar is laying there, and has been disabled. Original hood crest and 4-tab! Decklid is in decent shape and can be repaired easily. The car was originally L329 Shetland Grey with red interior, but someone repainted it red at some point with gold pinstriping. The engine is a rebuilt 1964 1500cc single-port Type III case that has been converted to a 1600cc Type I Dual-Port. The engine has new fuel pump, plugs, wires, points, condenser, 009 distributor, and rebuilt Bosal 30/31 carburetor. The engine runs great and the car shifts smooth through the gears. The brakes work and it has a new master cylinder and hardline to the rear. This is fairly original car that would make for an impressing piece in anyone's collections! Everything is there, it runs and drives, and could be driven with very little work. This is right at the end of the project, 6 years in the making, and won't take too much to finish this diamond in the rough project!
