*Please have funds in place prior to bidding* Up for auction is this beautiful and very well kept 2004 Jaguar XK8. I'll get the bad out of the way first, yes this has a salvage title due to flood, that said this car was not flooded or had any water intrusion. I buy occasionally from insurance companies only the best cars and this qualified as one of the best cars I've bought. Often in flood situations cars that are not flooded get totaled out for reasons I am not sure of. I just know that certain flood cars are the best type to buy as they need no work at all and look and drive like new. This came from a very nice private plantation community on Hilton Head, maintenance was top notch from all appearances the car shows a life of ease. You can tell a lot about a car from the tires, this one is equipped with meaty BFGoodrich's that have most of their life left. The previous owner was not afraid to spend money, something you definetely want to see! I check these cars out well and have the pleasure of driving them for a few months to be sure all is good. This car runs and drives like new. The throttle response is phenomenal and the car is just an absolute dream to drive. This is a 100% no excuses car, I can't say much more than that. Top of course works, as does the A/C heat, radio, gauges, etc etc. The only flaw I can find on the car cosmetically are the random rock chip and things associated with a 64K mile car built well over a decade ago. Nothing bad, just if you want to be picky it is not quite ready for a museum, yet. But it is close:) Mechanically there is nothing other than the keyless remote deosn't work (probably the battery) and the windows automatic up/down feature only goes down. The up is not working so it just makes it a little bit of a pain to keep monitoring where the window is when you close the door. Easy fix or you can just deal with it as I have. It even has the boot cover, and there is a cover for the cover in the trunk! In all this car is ready to go anywhere and you will get there in Jaguar style without breaking the bank.
