Presents... 2003 Chevrolet Corvette 50th Anniversary Edition Coupe Viva Las Vegas Autos Presents . . . A pristine 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 50th Anniversary Edition with removable hardtop and all the great options. First of all, these highly collectible modern classic American sports cars are getting harder and harder to find in show quality condition like this one is. Most now are high mileage "used cars", a rare few are what I would consider "Collector Quality" show cars. This Corvette 50th Anniversary Coupe is absolutely show quality for sure even with the higher miles. The best part about this particular 50th Anniversary Corvette, it won't break the bank to own it. I see several of these 50th Anniversary Corvettes almost every few months it seems and only a few spark my interest. Optimal condition, both mechanically and cosmetically are huge requirements for me when it comes to me investing in one of them for my business. This one met that value and I had to own it. ​​​​​​​ Viva Las Vegas Autos Known History . . . Every week I attend dealer auctions and specialty auctions for dealers where I hunt down some of the finest automobiles in the country. Some are old classic cars, some are low mileage cream puffs and some are rarely seen a limited production automobile like this C5 50th Anniversary Coupe is. But this car wasn't from one of those auctions. There is a funny story behind this car. I was at a dealership getting some parts for one of my other cars. As I walked in, I saw this Corvette just outside the entry door and glanced because I was impressed with how nice it was both in and out. I went inside to get my parts and upon exiting the same front door, I noticed the owner was chatting with the dealership's used car buyer as he apparently was trying to sell this car. My guess as I walked past and overheard the conversation for a split second, the buy figure they offered him was insulting and he took his keys and got into his Corvette. Funny enough, I was driving one of my other Corvettes that day, a Z06. So I got in my car and followed him down the street as he left the dealership. I got to an intersection, pulled up alongside him and honked my horn and rolled down my passenger window as he also rolled down his. "Hey, I said, are you trying to sell that Corvette. I am a Corvette buyer." He replied "Yes!" and I told him to pull over in the next parking lot around the corner. He did and we had a nice conversation. They did offer him insulting money for this sweet ride and I told him I would seriously offer him a fair offer if he was ready to make the deal. At that moment, I think he was a little bent from the prior dealer and he kindly asked me for a card and told me he would be in touch. Sure enough, two weeks later, he called me and accepted my offer. So here it is. My seller, had bought the car from the original owner, he had it for about 8 years and took exceptional care of it as did the original owner too. I have seen many 2003 Corvettes with half these miles and been in far worse condition but this car is genuinely as nice as any of the ridiculously low miles 50th Anniversary’s I have had in the past. All services are up to date. Even though the front tires had plenty of tread, they were old and needed replacement to match the rears. So I spent the money to get matching front Goodyear F1s factory OE tires. The brakes were great as you will see in the pictures. The car needs nothing and will impress any highly serious buyer looking for extreme quality at a fair winning price. Viva Las Vegas Autos Preparations and Conditional Assessment. . . Every time I buy any automobile, modern or not, the first thing I do is run it through a vigorous inspection. I want to make sure that all my cars are in tip top condition mechanically and cosmetically. From top to bottom, I am going to go over every inch to look for issues that may present themselves and repair, replace or service those items I find in needful condition so my buyers won't have to when they receive their sweet rides. As we all know, cars don't always speak to us and they don't always tell us what’s wrong, but there is also a common history to most cars. Knowing the background conditional issues on a car line also helps us to avoid future issues as much as possible too. In the case of the C5 generation Corvettes, this car was so well cared for that nothing other than the two front tires were needed to make this car 100%. Drives flawlessly, air blows I cold, the brakes are like new and so are the tires. The car is also beautifully detailed in and out as well.
