Up for sale is my super bitchin 1966 Jeep Wagoneer. This Jeep the original mountain rescue vehicle at Mountain High in Wrightwood back in the late 60's. Based on records The original owner owned the Jeep until the early 90's when it was sold to the second owner. I have been the third owner for about a year. The first thing I did after purchasing is was take it to Jeeps R Us in Laguna Beach to get some work done. It has all new drum brakes and pads, Optima Battery, new and very powerful brake booster, new tires, new Champion Radiator, new lines and heater hoses as well as a full vehicle inspection. They said it drove great and the engine ran super strong. I have registration and maintanance records dating back to the late 60's and early 70's. The body is clean and straight. The rain gutters are free of rust. The paint is not original but the original white color. The second owner got a dent repaired on the drivers side door and worked out a deal with the body shop at the time to repaint the whole vehicle. There is a small area of rust on the lower corner of the drivers side door. Still has the original AMC 232 Hi-Torque Straight Six (Especially awesome for space in the engine bay). 3-Speed column shiftPower SteeringOptima Battery Things that need attention that I haven't had time to do:-Parking break needs to be tightened/adjusted- Headliner needs repair- There is a short somewhere so the battery drains if it sits for a while- Linkage on column shift gets sticky sometimes and get stuck on occasion. It probably just needs to be lubricated. Im selling it because it sits on my side-yard more then it should. Needs to got to someone that can get more use out of it.
