Vehicle Detail
First things first, if you cannot follow through with the sale please do not bid. I bought this Bronco about a year ago from a guy who bought it in the 80's when he lived in Arizona. He bought it from a car dealer. He drove it for a few years and decided to rebuild the engine. The engine is a 400, he added headers, an Edelbrock 4 barrel intake manifold, and an Edelbrock carburetor. He was going to look for the paperwork on the engine rebuild but I never got it from him. So, a couple years went by and he let a friend borrow the Bronco. The rear end went out when he was driving it. The Bronco has sat ever since. In the late 80's the owner moved to Illinois and he had his belongings and the Bronco shipped. It sat in his yard ever since. I think he messed with it here and there, for some reason he took the transmission out and unbolted the radius arms. He put a shell of a transmission back in so he could mount the starter and fire it up. I'm not sure when the last time it was running. I put a ratchet on the crankshaft and the engine is stuck. The door panels are gone, the carpet is out, I have the original front seats. I think the rear seat is missing. The gauge cluster trim is in there, it has the lighted vanity mirror on the passenger side. I bought the correct freewheelin' wheels for it that have good tires. I didn't change the front driver's side wheel because it has one anti-theft lug nut. The Bronco came with 4:11 gears, trak-loc, and the 400 engine. I was always going to get a Marti report for it but I haven't gotten around to it. This Bronco is rust free and still has a clear Arizona title. I'm a 73-79 Ford truck and Bronco nut and I hate to sell this but I could really use the money for my 78 F-100 project. I'm a licensed vehicle dealer in Illinois, so Illinois residents will need to pay for the title transfer ($95) and tax (6.25%). Feel free to call or text me at 309-230-8277
