This 1966 Porsche 912 has been lovingly cared for and enjoyed by a family of Porsche enthusiasts who, unfortunately, can no longer give it the attention it deserves. The car has been in the family for almost 42 years. The body is solid, 4 cyl. 1.6 l engine rebuilt in 1984 by Import Doctor in Doraville, GA. so be assured when you turn the key you'll hear that sound which is uniquely Porsche. Desirable short wheel base. Nice Chrome. Interior is all there. Factory wheels. There are a few tears in the driver seat upholstery and the Porsche Ruby Red Metallic paint (Repainted in 1985) is faded in a few spots on the roof and hood. Car has been garaged and has all service records since this owner purchased in 1976. Car is fun to drive, however, transmission will not go into 4th or 5th. We speculate that this is just some old bushing or shifter linkage components.
