Up for your consideration is a very clean 1979 Suzuki GS1000. This bike has been loved by it's past 2 owners as evidenced by the beautiful shape it's in and the addition of documented service. The bike has just under 8800 miles on the odometer and is believed to be accurate considering the condition of the vehicle. The bike has had a repaint in the past, which has been done to a very good standard with just a very few flaws. There is a rub on one spot and a haze under the clear in another location on the tank. Photos of these flaws have been provided. Overall the paint shows very well and all panels and parts look great. The engine has been regularly serviced with a recent carb rebuild and tune on the Mikuni smoothbores. Original carbs not included but other jets are as is the correct shim tool and shims. It has a period correct exhaust system in very good shape. Also the forks have been recently rebuilt to remedy a seal leak. There is some corrosion under the clear on the aluminum showing on the engine side covers as normally seen on these bikes. Tires are in fair condition. The engine starts up after just a few spins of the starter and once warm runs out beautifully. The bike has been used regularly for the past fews years with no issues. The original owner's manual is provided as is a clear title. It also recently one a trophy in the local vintage motorcycle show.
