This auction is for a rare 1939 Ford 1 ton Panel Truck. The body of this truck is in amazing condition with virtually no rust. The original drive train is present except the motor, the transmission is still in it. The original wheels are still with it including the spare and all the V8 hubcaps. The wheels are 5 lugs with huge 3/4 inch studs. The wheels are 17 inches in diameter. The wood in the rear is still in good condition. Someone cut an extra window in each side, I have made panel of the same 20 gauge mild steel as th truck sides. The panels have a 1/2 flange on the inside offset so they are flush outside. These panels can be welded or install with modern panel adhesive. Thy ar preset held in with kleckoes Other than that repair the truck need no rust repair. The is not the x type, as on the cars and light trucks, but two parallel rails with cross members. The dash is nice as are the gauges.The truck would be great for hauling motorcycles or camping or towing to car shows. It has a few dents most in the right rear fender otherwise pretty straight. No rust around the doors or rain gutters or anywhere. I can store it for up to 90days if the buyer nes some tim to pick it up. It has droppe out of th California DMV system, but has a clear stamped vin number. I will provide California from Bill of Sale.
