This beautiful 1977 Chevy Nova was garage kept for 40 years. Newer paint and new striping. Under 20,000 original miles. Previous owner worked for NY State and had a company car for 40 years so this car was truly low use. Interior is all original. This is the model GM added front disc brakes. Car runs well. I even used it as a daily driver for a few months. Newly rebuild top end of motor (head, valves, springs, seals, gasket) to fit it with Offenhauser aluminum three-one barrel set up. Currently running on single carb but the other two are all on the linkage and can be made operational anytime. Just remove blockoff plates. Open up fuel lines. Yes, Carbs are fine. Really cool "tricked out" 6 cylinder! Plenty of head turning looks and comments at shows. Under-the-hood chrome. New HEI distributor and plug wiring. Removed original 3 speed and installed rebuilt GM 4 speed with clutch and pressure plate. Hurst Competition-Plus Shifter with T-handle. Car has power steering, after market A/C. Nice throaty exhaust with clean, no rust pipes. Tires are like new and new Crager chrome rims just added. Gabriel Hi-Jacker air shocks. New AM/FM/CD radio. Tachometer plus oil,temp,volt gauges under dash but kept the dashboard "idiot lights" functional. Some original parts included, as well as a brand new chrome power brake booster ready for the new owner to install if manual brakes is not your thing. But with front disc brakes it already has plenty of stopping power! Can be registered as a daily driver or stay with QQ plates. A perfect opportunity to enter the classic car market at a great low price compared to earlier models at $20k and more. Several similar same year and stock six engine Novas for sale at $11K or more on other on-line car sites. Or drop in a crate motor to double the value. Several thousand already invested from rims and tires to motor, trans, and accessories.
