Vehicle Detail
Garaged rare x50 packaged 996 turbo.Silver on Black interior with carbon Fiber trimonly one I have every seen with factory parking sensors.Aftermarket part: it has a quaife LSDIssues: only cosmeticsexterior: small dings on front bumper, the left exhaust bubbled the paint around the cut out at some point don't know when or how.Interior: the CF trim under the windshield all the way at the front of the dash started to crack and kick up the sensor, so i removed it. haven't had a chance to replace it.recent maintenanceNew Battery within 600 miles 2. Fresh oil change with Mobil 1 with 400 miles 3. New set of Tires within 400 miles. 4. Upgraded to 997TT Shifter box 5. Quaife LSD installed in the stock transaxle. At the same time, the transmission got a factory refresh so all the latest upgrades are in it including new Syncros, bearings, input shaft, etc. this cost me between $5000 to $6000 of parts and labor on the trans. It should last forever. There is no 2nd gear popout or grinding syncros or anything like that. The Quaife differential just does a "whirring" sound on deceleration (because of the gears in the diff that replaced the softer clutch plates) according to previous owner, it's normal just like when he did the Quaife on his Evo. This is only on decel. 6. Reinforced both axles shafts for better strength. There is extra material welded to both axle shafts. If you decide to launch the car and it has good grip, the axles won't break on you. 7. At 45,000 miles, installed NEW stock clutch and flywheel 8. On the clutch system, I've already done as a preventative maintenance: New Master Cylinder, New Slave Cylinder with new accumulator, and new fluid. This was at 40,000 miles. 9. On the rear wing, I spent a couple of weeks, bleeding the hydraulics and upgrading the fluid inside so it won't have the infamous wing drop or wing error issue. It works flawlessly. This was at around 47,000 miles. 10. The intank fuel pump has been upgraded to a higher flowing unit. I11. The fuel pressure regular is the adjustable type but you should never have to touch that. 12. Coil packs are replaced with new 997TT coils along with new plugs sometime after 40,000 miles. Should be good for at least another 30-40K miles. 13. Fuel Filter has been replaced with a new factory unit. Should not have to worry about that for another 30-40K miles. 14. Rear differential and transmission fluid was replaced at 45,000 so you probably don't ever have to worry about that again (maybe until 80-90K miles).15. new set of intercoolers from factory OEM, the previous owner was fiddling with it for some reason and broke the plastic tabs on both sides.I had the car completely checked by a local porsche only specialist. If you are wondering why i am selling... getting married... nof said.
