96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 1948 Cadillac 62 Series 2 door Fastback. Original interior and paint. This car was in the same family about 55 years. It starts up and runs fine. I put brake fluid in and the car stops. However I would not trust the brakes on the road until I went through them. The exhaust is new. The fuel pump and carburetor look rebuilt or new. I put a new battery in the car, but I think it is a little low on cranking amps. It cranks on the slow side. The front seat is ripped up where the driver sits, the rest is original and usable as is. The head liner and carpet are also Okay. The body has rust through in the rockers behind the stainless, lower front fenders, and under the rear quarter splash stainless. The rear bumper also has rust. The floors of the car great as is the trunk floor. The car was hit in the right front fender and an amateur job was done fixing it. I Do Have Two Front Fenders I Will Throw in with the Sale. I think most of the original paint will buff up to a nice shine. This car needs a restoration, but with a little work it would be one cool ride as is. Sold where is as is. Ask your questions and make your inspections before you bid.
