Hello diesel family and friends, thank you for your faithful following and Happy and blessed new year to everyone from Toms Diesel truck center on ebay,....I sell all my diesels on ebay only I do not have a web site, please stop down if you can or just check on ebay here from time to time I will put one or two new trucks on as I get them ready for sale,,,thanks T I'd like to share a little about my self just to let you all know who you are dealing with before we get together in a business deal, I also have all my policies which have worked for me the past 14 years dealing on ebay and online deals so please read, thanks ... my name is Tom I am a licensed mechanic and PA diesel truck dealer with experience going back to the early 1970's. For those of you who remember when you got your car fueled up the attendant that ran out to fill your car up? That was me.... it is where I started my journey into the car business, at 14 I walked down to my uncles Texaco station in south central PA, after football practice, I'd put on my striped shirt and greeted the customers filled them up, checked the oil, washed the windows and whatever else I could do to get tips;). He let me in the garage when I got to high school and did engine work, brakes, welding and just about everything else but where I really excelled is when he started selling cars, I enjoyed helping customers find the car or truck or there dreams. I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened this small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. If you give me the opportunity I promise I will do everything in my power not to let you down... I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3's trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California,Texas, and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast. A few things to know before bidding or becoming interested in one of my trucks, I do not play games with the price, I do my homework price low for fast cash sales on the buy it now that is what I need if you do the research you will see, however serious cash buyers are encouraged to bring cash offers close to buy it now we might deal to the right buyer, the right buyer to me does his or her homework and knows the market price on these old diesels, is easy to deal with and has there expectations in line, what I'm not looking for is people shooting lowball prices, bringing a magnifying glass to scrutinize a 15-20 year old work truck, if you need new I do not sell that they are tens of thousands of dollars more money and don't last long at all go to the new dealer if that is the case. But if your serious about buying a nice older diesel and are good to get along with that is me as well I will make you a sweet deal, stop down if you can.. This Fella was the only owner and this truck which lived in a garage in south Floridia its entire life, except when he was not traveling around the south on highway trips with his baby. He has every service record on all fluid changes and other work since he had it and the records are included (shown in pict).This beautiful 97 Ram 2500 Lrimie SLT 4WD EXT Cab Longbed has the cummins 12 valve turbo diesel engine, 5 speed tranny, and 355 rears gets almost 20 mpgs. Mechanically it is just about perfect, when I got it she was in the garage stored and not ran for 5 years so getting it ready for new owner I drained all fluids starting with the fuel put in 30 fresh gallons of diesel, new sending unit, new filter, pulled the pump apart cleaned and resealed, timed and tuned, new oil and filter, new front seal and Dow tab, valve cover gasket, new batteries, cables, rebuilt the front end new ball joints track bar and bushings, aligned, like new cooper rubber, brakes and rotors, good exhaust, all newly installed tranny syncros and new organic factory clutch disc, all stock and runs beautiful. Fires right up, not a drop of anything leaking, tight driver including front end, thick rubber, absautly no expense spared, mechanically up to date and ready to go...and all work stated above warrantied 1 year parts...Exterior body is beautiful freshly detailed, body is glossey and straight. Mint Floridia Frame no scale or rust, interior had factory seat covers and a carpet dash pad since new to protect it from that hot Floridia sun, we removed and just look at that mint interior not a single tear or crack in there, cold air, everything I tried worked (cant figure out the raido) very impressive truck for its age, miles very good too for age too most of my rustfree 12 valves hit 7-800K before needing rebuilt, also please do home work on price I have it below market for fast sale, lowballers will not get any response, this is my last 5 speed 12 valve have not seen any good ones in the past year so don't delay these not out there, at least the good ones....Diesel Tom 717 991 0568 Its 22 years old so probably some wear and tear like rock chips and stuff like that, please don't expect a new truck just super nice
