The owner has lost interest in the boat and it will need some work. It looked to be well equipped for cruising in its day. The owner bought the boat in New York a few years ago and sailed her on Long Island Sound before bringing her down south to Miami. He had some fuel problems last year and has not used the boat since. It needs a good clean up as well as many other things. There are many cabin window leaks and the cabin is filthy overall. The batteries are being maintained by solar panels and the bilge pumps, electronics and some items work just fine. I'm sure there are things that will not power up as well. There are a few sails and owner said they are in good useable condition and may be relatively newer. The swing keel feature is inoperable which is a common issue on this model that most owners have abandoned. The decks are solid and the topsides have scratches and rubs from Irma a few months back. Bimini, mast, boom sails ,furler and rigging all look intact. Owner did mention that it may need a starter motor as he cranked it for a long time when he had a the fuel problem and burned it out possibly. Engine is said to be a 30 hp Volvo Penta diesel. Overall with a handy new owner and a good cleaning it could be brought back to the blue-water again. Sold exactly as shown in photos. Photos were taken on 2-11-18. No reserve so high bid wins it! It is at a private marina at a condo complex with security. The boat will need to be swiftly repaired to move under its own power or towed away to a service marina. Visiting the boat before auctions end is not possible due to the security at the complex. We will arrange to put the high bidders name on the visitor list for admittance after auction. Owner holds a transferrable New York Registration to transfer ownership. ****Owner is including a dingy and running outboard engine that is not shown in photos.
