2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt #5251 - Dark Highland Green with Charcoal Black Interior I purchased this car November 2017 and have decided to sell it because I'm looking at a truck restoration project. I'm a big Bullitt fan, already owning another Bullitt Mustang, but I would be happy to see it go to another enthusiast. This car is truly is a great example of the Bullitt model. Vehicle Description 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt, featured in Dark Highland Green Metallic. Very low miles, a mint appearance, near-stock configuration, and original window sticker documentation. It is also worth noting that the original Bullitt serial sticker on the shock tower is still intact with no wear. This is car #5251, which makes it a later build number. Ford Motor Company produced a total of 5,582 Bullitt’s for the 2001 model year; 3,041 Dark Highland Green, 1,818 Black, 723 True Blue. This Bullitt Mustang was factory ordered with the optional Mach 460 sound system (as denoted on the window sticker). The previous owner installed an aftermarket JLT Cold-Air-Intake and adjusted the computer with an aftermarket Diablosport handheld tuner (which will be included with the sale of the vehicle). Also, a Steeda short-throw shifter was installed by a previous owner. The stock shifter assembly will be included with the sale. To my knowledge these two things are the only mechanical upgrades the car has. The exhaust system is completely stock. I did my best to outline any chips/scratches on video, so take the time to view it for good measure. The hood does have some very minor hard water/acid rain spots which is hard to capture. I just had the front bumper professionally resprayed to fill in the bumper holes. Paint matches great. Tires are in good shape. Shorty antenna is installed, but original long antenna is included. Interior: Interior is in great shape as described by photos/video. Floor mats included. Original "BULLITT" scuff plates are great with no dents or scratches. Non-smoker and no odors. One thing to note is the driver side seat belt tensioner does not retracted fully when no one is using the belt (see video for more info). Vehicle has just been serviced (2/10/2018) including a Motorcraft oil/filter change, new Motorcraft battery, tire rotation, along with a multipoint inspection. Two tires measure 7/32 and two measure 9/32.As seen in the last photos - all the documentation that will be included with the car. Original window sticker, bumper quality/vehicle content label, original Dealer Bill of Lading (car was delivered on 8/21/2001 to Waldorf Ford in Waldorf, MD). Also includes numerous Ford supplements, both sets of keys, original Ford Owner Advantage card, and other odds and ends. However, I will make myself available to handle my end of giving a transporter the car. I am local to Dulles International Airport (IAD) and will gladly arrange pickup if you want to fly-in and drive home.
