Up for auction is my 2001 F250 Super Duty, 285K miles and running strong! MANUAL 4WD (you must engage the front wheel locks manually, and shift into 4WD: this is NOT on the "fly").This truck is a show stopper! Never abused and never used for snow plowing or heavy towing (just light "trailer"). Truck is lifted and performs well. NO ROT in the typical F250 areas: doors/ edges/ step bars/ tailgate/ bed are all in great shape. (there is minimal rot around REAR wheel wells, but covered by fender flares).. Interior is almost "mint" for this vintage, no tears, or rips, seats are almost perfect: floor carpet is almost new. All options are in full operation (power locks, windows, cruise, etc). A/C is still ICE COLD and works well. Original CD/radio sounds great, speakers have been upgraded and sound fantastic. Well taken care of. TRIFOLD BED COVER IN GREAT SHAPE, and included. I also have a heavy duty bed liner that can be removed for cleaning. Some recent service items: 1. new top end (intake, gaskets, etc). 2. new fuel sender/pump 3. new belt 4. new interior bulbs upgraded to "white" LED. 5. NEW exhaust from muffler (flowmaster) back. Motor runs strong, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS, no overheating, strong oil pressure. This are bullet proof motors that last a long time. Truck has the SUPER CHIPS tune module (see phote) included for performance tuning. Truck is a daily driver for me and I am selling to purchase F650 HIMARC. This is a heavy duty truck that has been well cared for, however it IS 17 YEARS young and the truck is NOT perfect. *There are dings and scratches here and there. The doors "sag" slightly, but I am including a new "door pin" kit that replaced the old bushings and pins in the hinges to correct this problem. *There is surface rust here and there. I have pictured it as I drive, sans giving it a good wash and clean (sorry, it's been miserably cold here in the east coast. It will shine up nice when "washed". *The rims need a good "steel brush" cleaning to bring the shine back (I just don't have the time to do it right now). MOST IMPORTANT: the truck has developed an oil leak on the rear pass side motor. I don't know where it's coming from (I am assuming the valve cover?) but it is dripping right smack on the exhaust pipe, so you can smell it. The leak was small 2 years ago, but its growing rapidly, so it must be addressed soon, but there is no loss oil pressure or driveablity. This is a LIFTED truck and it drives as such: It's harsh, but I love it and for the die hard, you will too. Plows through mud and snow with no issues.
