1979 MG MGB

Up for auction is this pair of MG MGBs, these are probably the easiest pair of cars to restore anywhere! And the best part is rust is minimal as both are southern cars and have been largely protected from the elements for much of their life. The red MGB is a 1979, the orange one is a 1977. Both are non runners and that is the major part of your "restoration". The orange one has the intake/carb removed and is in the back of the car, the red one turns over fine but has no exhaust manifold attached. I sprayed gas into the carb but got no fire. Once that is sorted out your "restoration" is largely complete! Both tops are good though there is a little more wear on the red MGB top, the orange MGB top is very nice. Interiors are basically complete, the orange MGB has a very nice wood steering wheel. Both will need batteries, the red MGB hood has some bad spots so that will need some attention. Tires are like new on each though they were mounted long ago, orange tires excellent, red excellent but some dry rot evident on sidewalls Good opportunity to restore these cars, keep one and sell the other for profit. Low opening bid makes this a great winter resto project that will not have you tied up until the end of Spring! The main issue is the titles, which both were placed in the same location...which as of yet I have not been able to find.
