How many pink 1959 Edsels with 6 cylinders and 3 on the tree have you ever seen? Things work on this classic car, its very solid and it drives like a dream. HOW IS THE BODY? It is very solid in my opinion. All the panels look original, no rusty holes, frame is solid. The under side has no under coating, you can see the truth. Some rusty color surface rust on the bottom, but very solid. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? It drives very good and steers easy. It really drives good for a 1959 technology. HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? For a land boat it stops very straight and good. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! HORN WORKS! HEATER BLOWER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! INTERIOR LIGHT WORKS? WIPERS WORK SLOW, THEY ARE Vacuum, the control cable is stuck, I'm lubing it. ORIGINAL RADIO NOT WORKING, UNDASH WORKS GOOD! HOW IS THE PAINT? Driver quality paint, its decent, not as perfect as pictures, but it looks good to me. It is old school enamal and was very dry when we bought it. We polished and waxed it and its much better. No dents and no dings, some touched up chips, Please come look and judge for yourself, its satifies me, but its no perfect paint. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Good, but not new. The seat covers show no wear, headliner good, door panels decent, carpet old with a patch under the drivers floor mat. HOW IS THE ENGINE? It runs very good, it starts good with manual factory choke. I hear no knocks or rattles and see no blue smoke. I do hear a small exhaust leak the sounds like it coming from the exhaust pipe to manifold gasket, I have one ordered. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? It a cool 3 on the tree manual. It shifts good and does not jump out of gear. HOW IS THE CHROME AND STAINLESS? The bumpers are not new, but nice, the side stainless is very good, the emblems shine good, but have some pits. HOW IS THE GLASS? Windshield must have been replaced, it has no wiper marks or chips. The side windows ar very good, drives does have a stone chip. COOL 50s THINGS: Curb finders on front, fuzzy dice, hula girl, pool ball shifter knob and the fuzzy whit dog in the back window. REMINDER!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a nice driver, its not a perfect car, it runs good, drives great, stops great and is the coolest car at the show. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303.
