I am selling a 1986 Z50 Christmas edition. I have had this bike on display in the house and its a great conversation piece. I will go into detail below so you know exactly what you are getting. This is by no means a perfect Christmas edition but its still pretty nice and is a good starting point for a Z50 enthusiast that does not want to pay upwards of 5k for a nicer one.There is some surface corrosion, most is in areas that you would not see. The fenders have some specs of corrosion along with the triples but it not to noticeable and very hard to capture in the pictures.Tires are cracking but hold air fineThe seat has a few small tears ( I have a new one that will come with the bike but I did not want to install in case the new owner preferred the original)Grips are original but have some tears (there are still NOS grips available if you search)Previous owner started buffing out the clutch cover to remove corrosion and never finished (NOS clutch covers are available for about 90.00 or you can finish buffing the existing one to a mirror finish). He also sprayed painted the ignition cover (I have a NOS cover that will be installed in the next few days)The gas tank is aftermarket. The original owner left gas in it while it was in storage for many year and ruined the tank.You will notice in the picture the air filter box assembly is missing ( I purchased NOS assembly which will be installed over the next few days.Carb is aftermarket as well.The Motor runs excellent. Starts 1-2 kicks and is very quiet and tight. **** Once I have installed the NOS parts I mentioned above I will snap some new pictures and upload them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SHIPPING: buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping.
