We represent the original owner of this 240D. This has been one of my most reliable automobiles over the years. It has a 2.4 Liter 4 cylinder engine with standard 4 speed transmission. Since it is a Diesel, it will never need to be smog tested. In 1980, this car defined luxury, now it is considered a collector vehicle. It has never been in an accident. The diesel engine runs great. It's not uncommon for this 2.4 liter engine to run for 1,000,000 miles. No oil leaks. You will get approx 28 MPG. This car has been routinely maintained by the local dealer and I have all the paperwork for all maintenance on the vehicle. This car is located in Palm Dessert, California and is being sold As-Is. The buyer must arrange pickup/shipping. The interior is stunning. The black interior just pops when you open the door. The seats are nice and firm and all look like very nice for the vintage. The carpet is excellent as is the door panels and also the headliner is like new. The dash is Pristine with no cracks . Overall the interior is exceptional and show's like new. Inside the car you will find it to have the Original Becker Europa radio which works perfect. The climate control switches from Heat to Ice cold Ac which is still the Original R 12 . Mechanically the car is very sound. I have clear title , 2 sets of keys . Original books etc. and years of service records as the owner was very detailed.
