1966 Oldsmobile Toronado, Deluxe This is a Rare opportunely to own an original 1966 Black Oldsmobile Toronado Deluxe. The car was purchased in 1966 new in Fullerton CA and has spent most of its live In CA and is presently licensed and stored in Las Vegas Nevada. The car was purchased many years ago from an Art Dealer in New Port Beach CA who invested over $30K restoring/maintaining the vehicle which also included an expensive restoration upgrade of the front drum brakes to disc brakes. Cars factory options are Climate Control A/C and Heating system, power windows and seats, power antenna, Tilt and Telescopic steering, Deluxe Stratos bench seating and interior, Wonder bar AM/FM radio, car manuals etc. It also comes with a GM factory A/C system test equipment which is very rare to find today and a must to test and repair the A/C and Heating system. It also comes with a factory ordered emergency lights -dash switch (has not been installed) .The car is front wheel drive and has a 425 V8 motor which delivers 385 HP. I also have the GM parts list and shop manuals including owner manual.These cars won the 1966 Motor Trend “Car of the Year”, and only 40 K of these cars were manufactured and not many have survived 50 years in this condition. This car drives great and the black paint, tires, chrome bumpers, transmission etc. work and look great, the interior is in nearly perfect condition, but it does need a new trunk mat. This car won the “Best Show Oldsmobile” in the "All GM Vehicle Show" Los Angles 2003 an in my opinion the car is still close to show room condition, but will need cleaning and detailing as it has been in storage. I have owned and stored the car in Las Vegas for many years and only driven it a few times when visiting Vegas, but now I need to sell it for family health reasons only.
