1966 Datsun 1600 Sports Fairlady roadster Early model (low short window) Datsun 1600 roadster. Super rare and unique. Get a fun handling little convertible sportscar with Japanese reliability. No headache and mechanical problems like a British. - Motor and carbs have been completely rebuilt with receipts. - Manual 4-speed transmission- New brakes and brake master cylinder - New clutch and clutch master cylinder- New aluminum radiator- New electric fan- New heavy duty GM alternator- Crane Cams electronic ignition conversion (no more points!)- MSD ignition coil- Electronic fuel pump (no more mechanical one)- New tires- Seats, dash, door panels have been recovered but are showing a few years of age.- Some of the gauges do not work - Speedometer is off, unknown mileage- Paint is not original and old. There is a chip and small dent on the rear left corner.- All the chrome and rubber could definitely be restored - Soft top and rear window is clean but a couple buttons are missing.- Heater core was leaking and is now removed.- No rust. California car. Original California black plates. If you are looking for an early model Datsun roadster project that you can drive while restoring this is it. This is complete with everything there and no rust. Some parts will definitely need to be replaced or restored but it is there for you to drive and enjoy in the meantime.
